This Samsung Fridge Filter 10" cartridge is designed as a direct replacement for the BL 9808.
IT DOES NOT HAVE THE SCREWED END FITTINGS AS SUPPLIED WITH THE ORIGINAL SAMSUNG FILTER.
This is not a requirement as the ends of your pipe push into the ends of the push fit connectors at each end of the filter. That said it offers equal performance in terms of water filtration, at a significantly lower cost than the manufacturers original part. This is classed as a Carbon Block Filter.
