My dishwasher will not start. It is model Aquarius DWF 50. It looks like new. This is the first time I have had a problem with it. It completed a wash yesterday and after emptying it put it on the same program today and it will not start. The on/off light is on and you can hear a slight humming noise, after setting the wash programme, and it will not start.

The drain pump is in continual mode because the float switch in the base is activated. Tilt the machine back to see if water runs out the back. If so then this will correct it self once the water has been drained from the base plate.
